What is counselling?

Counselling is a place to talk, a sacred space where you can be yourself. The therapeutic space is a space for you. It is a commitment to meet regularly, usually weekly, for 50 minute sessions.

You can bring whatever you feel the need to bring, from current events in your life, whatever is on your mind or issues that need to be looked at from the past. Counselling can be a place to be silent and have time for yourself, undisturbed by the other aspects of your life.

It can be very scary to make the first contact. Making contact with me could be a step towards finding the right counsellor for you.
